Canning For Seven

Hi Everyone,

It's been awhile since I was here, but I am slowly making progress to come back. My niece and her 3 kids from Florida is living with me and my family. We have a full house now. She recently lost her home in a fire that started from the dryer. She lost everything including her car. Soooo, now there is seven of us in one house. This is a time that I must truly put being frugal as a top priority. I managed to save money by doing some canning. The veggies come from the garden. Yes, canning does take a little time, but it is worth it.
At this time I would also like to thank all the people who donated and helped with my niece and her kids. God Bless you all.

Meanwhile, she is being lovingly cared for by you and your family.

You have some wonderful canned goodies from your garden.

  3. To Mrs. T,
I just used fresh fruit and pectin. The recipes have no sugars in them. Since I changed my lifestyle I try to stay away from refined sugars.
