The Bottom Part Of The Painted Hutch

You may remember a recent blog that I posted called "The Painted Hutch". Well, this is the bottom half of the hutch.
I decided to paint this piece also with an antique white paint that I had left over from a previous project.
I ended up using two coats of paint.

Still kinda wet, that's why you see the blotching on the top and sides. When it dried it turned out beautiful.

You can't see it, but I scratched it up really good to give it an old feel to it. This project took me about 1-1/2 hours to finish. I used a fan to get it to dry really fast.

Finished!

  3. Hi Lee! Thanks so much for visiting my blog and your lovely comment. I saw your post on the top of this hutch and how great that you basically got two for the price of one! I really like it painted white, too. Pieces like this always come in handy in any room, I think!
