Mouse In The House! Oh My!
Let me tell you the story of this mouse that lives in my house now. Of course it's the kind of mouse that you would want to keep, don't get alarm just yet! I found this creature sitting on the self at the goodwill. I thought that he was so cute, he reminded me of my husband. You see, my husband, at the time that I bought this had an obsession,( if we can call it that) with CHEESE. So, I started calling him "the big rat"! That's how much cheese he used to eat. You know how you buy those square blocks of cheese, well, he would take the whole thing to work and eat it for lunch. Oh I would get so mad because I never would get any! Well, back to the mouse. I thought he was cute and purchased him for $2. He almost look like he should be out at Christmas time, but I like him so much, I keep him on the shelf all year. Sometime I may put him on the fireplace, but right now his favorite place is in my reading room. Oh, and by the way, we gave up eating cheese, but my husband is still a big rat! Love ya honey. Be frugal and live like a Queen!

Love My Rooster
This is my big white rooster that I found at a discount store. This is one of my favorite decorating accessories. He was marked down so I bought him for $14. I saw it and just had to have it. He's big and weighty, I don't care, I love him. I think that he was a great find. I like moving him around to different places, but lately he is roosting on my side table in the family room. Be frugal and live like a queen!

Linoleum Floor Mats
I took some leftover floor linoleum and made these floor mats for my gym equipment. I used acrylic paint and stencils. This was an easy project to do. First I painted it black, then used stencils for the letters and tape for the lines. Make sure you let the paint dry before stenciling.

Tank Top Bag
I love this bag that I made to hold my doll bodies. I took an old tank top tee shirt, the stretchy kind. I sewed the bottom of the tank on the wrong side, turned it over to the right side and cut the ribbing from the neck and arms until they were wide enough and the tank started looking like a bag. You can also use this for carrying groceries. This is a quick, simple, easy project. The tank was something old that I already had and didn't wear anymore. This project cost me nothing but a little time. Be frugal and live like a queen!
